Liz Gillies is the new Research & Projects Manager with the Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership for Social Impact at Melbourne Business School in a joint 12 month appointment with CSI.
Apart from developing a working paper on how the two centres working together might best support leadership initiatives for social impact projects, she is expected to contribute to development of the CSI Research agenda.
In her previous position at the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust, Liz helped secure the grant of $1.5m to support the Chair of Leadership for Social Impact at MBS, currently being advertised. Her prior work experience includes seven years in tertiary education management at Deakin University, and three years with the Victorian Parliament as a shadow ministerial advisor for Planning and Tertiary Education and Training.
