Cheryl Kernot talks to Radio National about Social Entrepreneurship

CSI's Cheryl Kernot talks to ABC National about Social Entrepreneurship:

Last month a syndicate of charities including Mission Australia and the Brotherhood of St. Laurence beat off a private equity fund to take control of some of the childcare centres previously run by the collapsed ABC Learning. According to Cheryl Kernot, it's an example of social entrepreneurship, where organisations leave behind the old charity model and move to one where profit is not necessarily a nasty word.
