AusAID regional program for NGOs

CSI is working with AusAID to jointly develop recommendations for a program to support NGOs in Pacific countries and Timor Leste. The aim is to design a program that will make a significant contribution towards building and sustaining the capacity of NGOs and civil society in those countries. It will broaden capacity in the region and will enhance governance, including the role of civil society, and the role of non-government organisations in basic service delivery.

CSI has commenced research and will consult widely with a large number of constituents in the region and within Australia.
